Cheswick, PA - The Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena, know for its soccer programs, adds entertainment to its repertoire. PISA will produce an annual concert series consisting of three (3) to six (6) major concerts running from April through September featuring national recording artists. The PISA Concert Series will showcase varius genres of music and attempt to appeal to all aduiences.
Artist(s) will be selected based on audience/customer feedback and requests. "We believe that if our customers express a significant interest in a particular recording artist, then we will do what we can to bring that artist to Pittsburgh," says Kevin Cummings, General Manager.
The 100,000 square foot facility presents a unique advantage among venues in Pittsburgh. With a maximum capacity of approx 3,200, the arena lends itself to a concert/artists with a fan base too large for a nightclub, however not large enough to fill a Mellon Arena or Post Gazette Pavilion size venue. |
